2Sterilization   method

In situ steam automatic /manual sterilization, sterilization temperature 100-130℃,

Sterilization can be stirred at the same time, can thoroughly sterilize the medium.

3Aeration system

Configure one air intake (air) including: rotameter, mass flowmeter,  2-stage sterilization filter, 

non-return valve, etc., to ensure that the air enters the tank aseptically.

    

Using an aerator (Ring Sparger & Microsparger) and Overlay to supply gases simultaneously 

Two-way ventilation is equipped with four-way gas (Air, O2, CO2, N2) mixed intake, 

mass flow meter (four-way TMFC automatic adjustment) to be able to supply different gas mixtures in 

these ways.

4Agitation system

Mechanical sealing or Magnetic coupling stirring at the top of the fermenter;

   

Fermentation special blades, stirring form: 4x baffles. 1x comb type foam breaker., 

also according to fermentation the special requirements of the process are to replace different 

types of stirring paddles.

5Temperature   control

Heat by thermostatic water tank and circulate by circulating pump,

Temperature control: ambient +5℃-65℃;±0.1℃, display temperature: 0-150℃±0.1℃

   
   
6Airflow control

Automatic or manual adjustment, flow meter display; 

range:0.1-2.0vvm; 

7Antifoam control

Automatically check foam, automatically add antifoam by

peristaltic pump.

8Feeding control

Control by peristaltic pump switch, automatically feeding and

computation.

9pH control

Using intelligent PID control, high control accuracy, and it is not easy to fluctuate, peristaltic pump 

switch to control the flow of acid and alkali, automatic control, automatic measurement. 

The electrode can be sterilized repeatedly, and  the calibration function is completely calibrated by the 

system software.

10DO control

The DO value is controlled in association with the speed,replenishment, air flow (if configured) 

and other parameters.

Control range: 0~150%, ±3% fermentation process sequence control (according to fermentation 

time, DO automatic variable control, at least 10 stages)

BioVita S is an on-site controller designed for Siemens S7-1200 series PLC, offering a stable and versatile

with an intuitive English menu, supporting direct on-site operation and data transmission 

to a host computer for analysis.
